With very little effort the operator is assured of high tension levels for steel strapping applications. The A461 is the best sealer to go with this pneumatic tensioner.

These pneumatic sealers let the compressed air do most of the work. This helps achieve productivity on heavy strapping, when seals are in awkward positions or when production has to be increased. The PN2-114 has unlimited strap take up like its other pneumatic counterparts. This tensioner can secure round or irregular packages. Since the PN2-114 is hand held and easily mobile, it can be taken from place to place with ease.

The PN2-114 is generally used with a pneumatic sealer. Most industries use the A461 sealer. The PN2-114 is very light it does not have to be counter balanced. Hence it is very popular in steel and metal industries. As it is not a combination tool, a separate pneumatic sealer has to be used. These pneumatic tools are very fast in application and efficient. However, one major disadvantage while using the pneumatic tools is that airlines constantly get dragged on the floor of the strapping area. So pneumatic tools are not much preferred presently with the addition of battery powered tools. This provides the same strapping result. One equivalent to the PN2-114 is the Grip Pack 114 tensioner.

However, there are also others who reduce the number of air lines and utilize one main line for all strapping procedures. Industry experts feel that the PN2-114 is the best among push type tensioners. It provides optimum safety and has a quick disconnect plug. The PN2-114 is durable and lighter to handle.
